

Lab Tech: Purity
Dairies' state-of-the-art laboratory. When a tanker
first arrives at Purity, raw milk samples are
tested for cleanliness and bacteria and the raw
milk will not be emptied from the truck until
it receives laboratory approval.

Insulated Tank Truck:
The insulated tank truck pick up the
milk from the farms and delivers it to the Purity
Holding Tanks.

External Holding Tanks:
Raw milk that meets Purity's high standards is
taken to the storage tanks.

State-of-the-art Pasteurization
Equipment: Some of the milk travels to
the homogenizer, where butterfat and other particles
are broken down.

Jugs: Ever
wonder how the jugs are made? They start as small
plastic pellets (it takes 7,500 pellets to make
one jug).

Cultured:
The making of cottage cheese is a 14 hour process.
Skim milk is taken and put in a large vat to make
cottage cheese, sour cream, or dip.

Freezer is kept between -10 and -30 degrees F.
After packaging, the ice cream is kept in Purity's
freezer until it is shipped.

Delivery:
Purity products are placed in crates and sent
to the cooler, until they are loaded onto Purity
delivery trucks.
